how to be alone
Once a week I leave home for my "alone time". Because I'm an introvert, I only thrive when I can occasionally be alone to process my thoughts and to not talk or interact with people. I return to my babies and my husband vigorously recharged.
If I don't get my weekly alone time, by Wednesday I am cranky and bristly.
One way to know if you're an introvert or an extrovert is the following:
If you are feeling tired and stressed...which would you want to do more?
a) Go to a party with friends and laugh and talk all night.
b) Go to a library and take notes on what you read.

My one question - does it feel like alone time just as much if you are hanging out in a coffee shop or bookstore as it would if you had the house to yourself? In other words, do you ever feel like sending the family off for the afternoon and dancing around the house all by yourself? Because I do.
Miss you!
What if I want to pick both? :)
I would love to you stop by our link-up of Christian unschoolers and add your blog: http://www.sparklingadventures.com/index.php?id=985
