Please welcome our beautiful new baby girl! She was born on Friday, November 28th, after her grumpy pregnant mother enjoyed several large Thanksgiving meals. Her birth was at 11:45 a.m., here at home! She weighed 8 pounds, 12 ounces.
Our family is so blessed to be a part of her journey through life! We are in awe of God's creativity.
All that said, we need a blog name for this little pumpkin. Will you be a part of the official "Blog Name the Baby" contest? If we choose your idea, we'll use the name to write about the baby along with her brother and sister, Funnyboy and Feistygirl. Some thoughts...I'd like it to involve the same syllables and consonants as her siblings' blog names, but so far all we've come up with sound insulting and not very long-lasting, only appropriate to her highly newborn status. Furrygirl, Flimsygirl, Flakygirl. Hmm. We'd like something to express who she is - but that's hard to discern when one is seven days old. She's very calm and happy...she is totally free of society's typical constraints, by being born at home and without vaccinations or typical medical conventions. She will be unschooled like her siblings. She makes cute baby noises and smiles a lot. She likes to be snuggled and sung to. So there you go. Let's see what you come up with!
Welcome again, unconventional baby! We love you, love you, love you.

Well I haven't got a name for her yet I'll have to think about it a while. I just checked your blog last night before I went to bed to see if you had her and how it all went and there was nothing . Now this morning I was so excited to see that she was here. I would love to hear your birth story. Home births are the best and have the best stories to go with them. God Bless you guys and the new addition.
Congrats mama!
She is big, wow! So cute and cuddly.
I'd call her Freegirl
How about "Girlasourus Rex"? Rarrrr...
Was that Kathy? I dig "Girlasaurus". I may have to go back to the drawing board. :)
As her birth didn't really follow the pattern of the Funnyboy and Feistygirl, perhaps her blogname doesn't either. I would suggest
"Futuregirl" as she will likely inspire her own blogname in due time.
Much love to the fam.

I'm thinking Funkygirl or Footsygirl (because of the foot, but it might have other connotations). Fantasygirl would probably be all wrong. Foodygirl...maybe she'll like food? Fannygirl...she might be like Fanny Price or maybe she likes fannies.
I give up.
I don't know about a blog name, but she's breathtaking. Congrats to the whole family!
Congratulations, she's a beautiful gift of God.
Fulgent means shining brightly. I haven't decided yet if Fulgentgirl really rolls off the tongue.
Congratulations!!! She's amazing and such a beautiful addition to your incredible family. Enjoy the babymoon mama!!!
Okay, I've got another one. Plus, instead of girl, you could use gal. Just a thought. But here it is...Friendlygal. That way she'd better be nice to meet up with this self-fulfilling prophecy.
Or Fabbygal (short for fabulous, though some might read it as flabby).
Fruity?
Flippy?
I have no life.

Congratulations Mumma, Papa and big siblings!!!!
We are SO happy for you!
She is beautiful. And since you mentioned she is free...I thought of FreebieGirl, but then thought that sounded like she came to you free, which is kind of true and not. Then I thought FreelyGirl since Jesus has loved you so freely by giving you another little love. I don't know, whaddya think? Love you, and MAN do we need to visit! Phew! Aunt Glo
Wow! What a beauitful baby! SO sweet!
I am stumped on a nickname but dont end the contest before I have a chance to put one up ;)
